New Form of Cinema: Cellular Film

Scientists have recently invented a new type of microscope with the capacity to film 3-D movies of living cells. We are all familiar with nature documentaries but what about if you could watch a documentary which captured the real life workings of an amoeba, or filopodia, or an kind of bacteria.

Now what if you took this one step further and you actually used bacteria or uni-cellular organisms in a movie where they were actually the protagonists. For example, you could play out a battle between a group of amoebas and group of coliform fecal bacteria. You could even introduce strains of super-bacteria that you know are going to win, they can be the heroic protagonist, or the villain depending on how you like your movies. Set's would be cheap, transportable and highly variable, all you need is a super-duper 3-D microscope and a very good HD camera and you could be narrating your way to Attenburrough like success in the protista kingdom.
