Lionel Messi the best football player in the world was seen in concert after his team comfortably progressed to the semi final of the Champion's League, where they will meet a long time nemesis in Real Madrid for a breathtaking four clashes of the El Clásico in the span of 18 Days. Lionel Messi's English is not the most polished, so he sang 16 days rather than 18 days as his latest song was inspired by the battle to come. The country twang to the song comes as a surprise as he revealed in an interview that his favourite music genres are Samba and Cumbi.

During the Copa America, he shared a room with Carlos Tevez. It was later claimed that "the music was louder than at a disco". Tevez has a band called Piola Vago, where he has some mean dance floor moves,a Tevez and Messi collaboration is planned for the future.
