Images That Dissect A Bumblebee


These magnificent images were garnered from the futuristic scanners which use advanced imaging techniques at the University College London Centre for Advanced Biomedical Imaging. It sets out to further illuminate important questions in the field of bioresearch. As New Scientist magazine descibed the images as:
The 1-centimetre bee looms large in the image, but also reveals its delicate interior including the honey stomach and wing muscles
