Forever Alone Flashmob
Beginning from March 22nd, 2011, 4chan and Reddit users started to carefully organise an involuntary flash mob event by creating fake dating profiles on OKCupid and setting up a false rendezvous for single males to meet at at Times Square, New York City at 7:30pm on May 13th, 2011.
The following image is of the instructions that they posted on these sites:

The picture below shows some of the lonely people still waiting at the meeting point, still unaware of the prank.

Below is a video interview with one of the Forever Alone flashmob victims. Thankfully he saw the lighter side of the prank.
What do you think of this prank?

The Fighting Irish - Hard As Fuck
The Fighting Irish youtube clip is well on the way towards 3 million views. Here at MRHP we are feeling the national neglect, thus we would like to draw attention to Dan Rooney, who is in fact absent from this clip. This clip has become a meme which has cemented the silent lovers Johnny Coyle and Patrick Doherty as traveller internet legends, we think it is about time Dan starts to get a little online attention ie. a million +. Enjoy the original Fighting Irish clip followed by a Rooney fight filmed on a calculator.

Pedobear - Leaving the Limelight?
For those of you not entirely tuned into the wonderful world of the WeirdWideWeb, you may not be familiar with one of the longest running internet memes. Steeped in mystery Pedobear has sustained a long and "fruitful" existence, through his positioning between the cute and the obscene. He is not only a valued member of internet subculture, but is also a key benefactor in the creation of the tapestry of lulz.
The following FOX News report not only shocked me in relation to its content, but also in how it managed to tarnish the long respected Pedobear name.
This clip not only marks an inherent social problem, but also depicts the beginning of a meme's fall from grace. With representations such as these, I don't think it will be long until this meme is finally going to have to act out one of his most famous images and start to tenderfoot his way out of the internet limelight and back towards his home in the Pedohills of Japan.
