Fábregas' smile says it all! How much do Arsenal get you ask? Well €14.5m (£12.7m) up-front, followed €14.5m to be given to them in October. Arsenal will then receive €5m each year of the five years of Fábregas's Barça contract, plus €6m based on appearances, goals and honours.

Paris The New Football Capital?
Qatar Sports Investment have purchased 70 percent controlling stake in PSG, the football team that plays their football In the glamour of Paris but with a history entwined with stadium violence, they failed to get into the Champion's League last year, but that has not stopped a stream of new players coming in, who could easily be playing for teams in the Champion's League. Unlike they city of Manchester, who also have Arab billions to splash around with on whim, the idea of going to play and live in Paris has to be way more endearing than playing in a dull industrial city, laden with rain and ugly British people. Whatsmore they beat Chelsea to the signing of Javier Pastore for a mouth watering 42 million euros, the Argentinian play-maker, may well be up for player of the year awards across the globe, in the coming years.
Give them another 2 year or 3 years when they are established in the Champion's League, and the men with groves of money trees may start to bring players in the same fashion as Real Madrid's Galactico project.
They have added plenty of new faces besides Pastore to their squad; €11 million signing of France striker Kevin Gameiro, €30 million up front for Jeremy Menez (Roma), Mohamed Sissoko (Juventus) and Salvatore Sirigu (Palermo), and the Ligue 1 duo of Blaise Matuidi and Milan Bisevac. Menez and Matuidi have been recruited as replacements for the aging Ludovic Giuly and Claude Makelele, these will make up a new side by 75 percent, and there is still a few weeks left for more spending sprees.
Although PSG have to be careful, after Pathe, a cinema chain in France, invested in Lyon, and spent 100 million on players in two seasons, they still ended with no trophies to show for it, even in a league which is considered weaker than the German, Spanish, English and Italian league.
Here is a video of that sexy pink panther, Javier Pastore, that may give you another reason to travel to Paris:

Worst Refereeing Decision Ever: Most blatant penalty
This officially has to be the worst refereeing decision in the history of football. Luckily for Australia's sake they went on to win the game. My question is did the ball grabber even know how to play football?

Top Scorer In Russia Tasered At Match.
Welcome to Russia, which fails time and time again to escape its totalitarian inheritance. It can be seen in the attitudes of the security at a football game in the top league in Russia which is called the SOGAZ Russian Football Championship.
The leading scorer of this league is Danko Lazovic, who has previously played in Europe for Dutch side PSV and the Aryan forces of Bayer Leverkusen. He has been capped 43 times for his home country Serbia, and Russians are notorious for their racism of all things none Russian as this video testifies as a seventeen year girl smoking says "I dont want my children to be the slaves of those blackarse bastards."
According to the Moscow reporter for The Times of India " Russia probed its police on Monday after the national league's leading striker accused a crack security officer of zapping him with a stun gun at the end of a heated weekend match.
This season's top scorer Danko Lazovic -- a Serbian national team player who has netted nine goals in 14 games for Zenit Saint Petersburg -- complained of being attacked following his side's 2-0 away win at Volga Nizhny Novgorod.
The incident came as Russia ponders ways to improve notoriously lax security at its stadiums before it hosts the 2018 World Cup and represented the second compliant of violence by a foreign player this year.
Lazovic told his team's website he suspects the riot policeman may have mixed him up with a Zenit supporter because the incident happened after he had already stripped of his shirt.
The player walked away from the altercation -- which occurred while rival fan groups were hurling various objects and verbal abuse at each other from neighbouring stadium sections -- rubbing his side.
Russian football has taken repeated blows to its reputation because of at-times deadly match violence and match-fixing allegations involving all the top leagues.
Both the Kremlin and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin -- who was instrumental in beating out England for the right to host the 2018 event -- have vowed to improve the sport's image through thorough investigations of all misbehaviour.
Saturday's incident came three months after a Montenegrin player complained to FIFA and UEFA that his Kuban Krasnodar club violently coerced him into breaking a contract under threat of leaving him damaged for life. "

The Twitter Craze: Rooney Gets Hair Transplant
Here is a picture that Rooney posted on twitter of his hair transplant. Alex Ferguson cannot understand the phenomena and relationship between celebrities and their fans on twitter. He said "I don't know why anybody can be bothered with that kind of stuff. How do you find the time to do that? There are a million things you can do in your life without that. Get yourself down to the library and read a book. Seriously." Although I doubt if any footballers knows what a library is...
Rooney was turned on to Twitter by teammate Ferdinand who has over a million followers and tweeted just two hours ago 'Having a BBQ tonight....inspired!! build a bonfire build a bonfire... #oooff!'
Deputy editor of Men's Health magazine said on Rooney going public about his hair transplant "The implication is that it's a vanity thing...I think it was admirable that he was so upfront. It is worse having had something obvious done, but trying to pretend nothing has happened.
It is an ironic twist that the same site (twitter) that revealed the women that got team mate Ryan Gigg's in trouble for adultery, is the same site that Rooney decides to announce what he feels is important information about his personal life. No doubt the opportunity to bypass the media and present a celebrities image is one too tempting for them to pass up and lucrative too as Martin Sheen found out. The Huffington Post reports Sheen will earn a mouthwatering $1 million this year from Twitter endorsements
Twitter appeals to fans as it gives them the illusion that they are hanging out with the lads, and no wonder when Ferdinand pokes fun at his friend Rooney just like they are hanging out at a sausage fest BBQ when he posts "Can't wait to see you in the mirror after training styling your locks with loads a products ala ronaldo!"

Cheese Rolling Event Goes Ahead
Despite being canceled for the second year running the cheesiest event in the world still took place. Although the weather was atrocious hundreds of people cheered on the cheese-rollers as they raced down a large hill in Gloucester, local boy Chris Anderson won three of the mens races and claimed 3, 8lb barrels of cheese. The slope of the hill had a gradient of 1:2, and was 200m long.

Barcelona v Man Utd Like French Kissing A Tramp?
An influx of thousands of articles encompassing the two footballing Mammoths Man Utd and Barcelona who spar in the Champions League final set in Wembley have appeared in every corner of the media. Of course the 'How Man Utd can beat Barcelona?' question has comically populated every newspaper and football related ink station. There are precise 'to do' lists, such as mark Messi out of the game, assign Rooney to hassle the vaudeville villain Busquets. These 'paid' journalists should be sent to concentration camps for such infantile analysis that barely penetrates the intellect of a toddler. A prime culprit of this is ex manager, player and now commentator, David Pleat who wrote the subheading " Stay disciplined and keep 11 men on the pitch" as one of his 5 points to beat Barcelona, what next "Score More Goals Than Barcelona" says top football analyst? I'm sure Sir Alex Ferguson is running into the dressing room after reading that article, proclaiming, 'there is one vital thing I forgot in our last few weeks of preparation, thank god for football punditry, don't get sent off!'
Kudos to Guardian writer Barney Ronay who wrote the line "Dipping your mouth to its innards is a two-stage experience. At first contact it felt a bit like French-kissing a tramp" as he offered a parallel between fast-food burgers and Barcelona. "So, that's that then. Applewood smoked bacon, cheese, crispy onion rings: pass-pass-pass-goal. Of course, the only real – but crucial – shared attribute between the Steakhouse Angus and the Guardiola Barça is this sense of being crushed by elite engineering. A Barcelona Steakhouse would be constructed from uniformly excellent things: truffle ham, fresh Catalan spring onions and lodged between annihilatingly fine fair trade artisan bread. But perfection is no longer the challenge for the Barcelona Steakhouse. The challenge is simpler. It is more a question of finding something to get your teeth into, as a routinely Barça-steamrollered neutral. If you don't happen to already, can you really love this elegantly relentless Barcelona?" He then went onto to refer to what it must feel like to play against Barcelona "It must feel a bit like playing chess against a Terminator. You cannot rest. Barcelona can rest: they rest while they have the ball. But you: never. This is a team with players of genius, but the real power is in its all-subsuming design, the tidal surge of its parts."
Will Ferrell, a Chelsea fan will be watching the match in a telephone booth on his iphone. The assumptions of all the media who are treating the whole affair like a pre-programmed chess game, that can be won before a ball has kicked off, will be crushed if Messi decides to score a freekick which will result in the next English opponent of Barcelona having the hoards of journalists adding their expert observation of 'Do Not Give Away Freekicks To Barcelona' sold as 'expert' advice. One hopes this final will be scintillating, lets face it finals are usually drab and boring, with two teams who don't want to lose, finals are thus a cagey affair. Hopefully the technical ability and wizard school of skills of Barcelona and the 1500 years of knowledge and supernatural powers that Alex Ferguson possesses will make this final as memorable as the 2005 thriller which read more like a Hollywood script than a football match where the underdogs triumph against all the odds, this time around though there are no underdogs.

Racism Rampant In Les Bleus
The national federation's (FFF) technical director Francois Blaquart is suspended due to a row over an alleged project to enforce racial quotas in youth academies. There is an ongoing investigation expected to be completed within 8 days. The investigation will try to find all those responsible for the absurd racial slurs against Arabs and African's playing in the national team. There were plans made to ensure that only whites would prosper in the national team and that they would do all they could to limit the development of any other players in the country's youth systems. On Thursday, French investigative website Mediapart (www.mediapart.fr), citing sources within the FFF, said Blaquart proposed to enforce racial quotas to limit the number of players of black or Arab origin in youth academies."We can mark out, in an unspoken way, a sort of quota. But it needs to remain unspoken," Blaquart was quoted as saying by Mediapart.
The independent media outlet also said that at a recent FFF meeting
the decision was made to change the criteria for players to be called up to the illustrious French youth centers. Unlike before, players will no longer solely be judged on their footballing qualities, but the FFF will also take their ethnic background into account before inviting a player to a training center
Zinedine Yazid Zidane the greatest French player of all time would be discriminated against in such plans.
Immigration will be a heated debate for the next French presidential election to be held next year
