As a dark cloud lay into his grey skull, a cotton blemish crept from his eyes like caterpillars of old glorious pasts come to a close. Miguel Angel de las Cuevas of Sporting Gijon scored a 79th minute goal that can be credited as the goal that really kicked Mourinho's gut into a melancholic shock. Prior to this they had won all 14 of their previous matches at the Bernabeu.
So note that the 2nd of April 2011 is a day that will be etched into Mourniho's conscience for the rest of his life.
